3M Carton Sealing Tape - 2.5 Mil High Performance -
Hot Melt Based adhesive. Super strong pressure sensitive polypropylene
tape for repetitive volume packaging. This tape features a strong
abrasion resistant backing and the most consistent adhesive system
available. Adheres instantly to most surfaces including high recycle content boxes. Tensile strength is 30 pounds per inch of width.
This High Performance packaging tape has high edge tear and split resistance.

Product Description Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 373 is a high performance packaging tape used for box
sealing, splicing, recouperage and other demanding packaging applications. This
product has a heavy duty, conformable backing and the most consistent pressure
sensitive hot melt adhesive system available. This time proven construction assures
high performance in a wide range of environments and applications.

Application Techniques An extensive line of application equipment including hand held manual dispensers
and semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment is available. Application of
Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 373 is most easily accomplished at room temperature. At
colder temperatures, approaching 32°F (0°C), the adhesive becomes more firm. Once
applied, Scotch® Tape 373 performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges
typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments.
Storage Conditions Store in a clean, dry place. Temperature of 40-80°F (4-26°C) and 40 to 50% relative
humidity are recommended.
